Our Classes

At BOM, we host a variety of cooking classes for both individuals and groups! With our super interactive and fun in-person and online cooking classes, we offer you the opportunity to reconnect with your friends & family and reacquaint yourself with your kitchen! Here are examples of classes we offer:

Online

Cook-Along 

Tofu and Tempeh:

Friday 22nd January from 6pm to 8pm

As part of Made in Hackney cooking school, Kieumy will teach how to cook tofu and tempeh as part of a 3 course menu. You will be cooking:

- Balinese curry

- Crispy tempeh with sweet soy sauce, - Almond tofu with longans

Cook-Along 

Chinese New Year(2hr)

Friday 12th Feb from 6pm to 7.30pm

Join us to celebrate the Year of the Ox! We will be making Longevity Noodles and crispy Spring Rolls. The class will be led by Christina Ng, our specialist in Chinese cooking!

Silk Tofu making and Mapo Tofu (Chinese Sichuan dish) (2hrs)

In our Tofu Masterclass, you’ll learn how to:

  • Make silken tofu from scratch

  • Prepare a delicious plant-based version of mapo tofu using the classic Chinese douban chilli bean paste and our own freshly made tofu.

Thai and Vietnamese

Join us to learn how to cook:

>> The beloved Thai dish with influence of Burmese cooking, the Chiang Mai Curry Noodles curry that is bursting with flavours

>> The green mango salad, Vietnamese style, which is fresh, crisp and crunchy. It has the perfect balance between sour, sweet, and salty flavors.

Vegan Gyoza

Join our founder Kieumy Pham Thai, a plant-based certified cookery teacher and specialist in Asian oriental cooking, to learn how to make healthy gyoza , dumplings filled with seasonal vegetables that bursts with flavour!
